My decision to become a licensed insurance broker specializing in Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans is deeply rooted in my family’s history and values.
On my mother’s side, my family immigrated from Ecuador to the United States and worked tirelessly to build a better life. Many of the women in my family chose careers in healthcare, which has always inspired me. They have lead by example and it has been an honor to witness their dedication to helping others navigate the healthcare system. This has motivated me to follow a path where I can also make a meaningful impact.
On my father’s side, my grandfather and his family immigrated from Czechoslovakia to the U.S. in the early 1900s, settling in Binghamton, New York. My grandfather embodied hard work and service—enlisting in the Army at 18 to serve his country during World War II, and always stepping up to take care of those around him. His commitment to family, community, and country shaped the values that I carry with me today.
Because of these influences, I’ve learned the importance of hard work, respect, compassion, empathy, and integrity. Becoming a Medicare broker allows me to live out those values while serving others. I want my clients to feel confident that they are in good hands—that they have someone who genuinely cares about their well-being and is committed to helping them find the coverage that best meets their needs.
For me, this career is more than a profession—it’s a way to honor the sacrifices and examples set by my family while making a real difference in people’s lives.
I earned my degree from Boise State University in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Gerontology, Addiction Studies, and in Health Data Management. This unique academic background gives me a deep understanding of the health, emotional, and financial challenges that many people face as they approach retirement or age into Medicare eligibility.
With a strong foundation in the unique needs of older adults and a commitment to personalized service, I empower clients to make confident, informed healthcare decisions. I help individuals navigate the often-confusing world of Medicare with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
